Quick Start Guide
- Type a Semantic Query in plain language (e.g., "testers talk about product sweetness").
The app auto-detects the language.
- Set Max duration per reel if needed. The system will try to keep individual clips within
this limit.
- Adjust Advanced Settings like translation if you need the results in a different
language.
- Click Perform Search, review the results, and select the reels you want to keep by
clicking the "Include Reel" button on each card.
- Click Reel Generation to open the export options and customize your final video.
Working with Reels
- Include / Exclude Reel: Use the toggle button on each card to add or remove it from your
final selection. Selected reels have a blue border.
- Edit Reel: Opens the editor where you can fine-tune a clip.
- Check or uncheck individual transcript lines to change the start and end points.
- You can also click directly on the text to correct any transcription errors before exporting.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Reordering Reels for a Single Video
Click the Reels Order button to open a drag-and-drop interface. Arrange the selected clips
into your desired sequence for the final compilation.
Note: This order only affects the Export as a Single Video option.
Exporting Your Reel (Reel Generation)
After selecting your clips, click Reel Generation to see the export options. You can
customize your video with logos, music, and more.
Preview Full Reel
Before downloading, use the Preview Full Reel button. This generates a complete preview of
your final video with all selected enhancements (logo, music, subtitles, intro/outro). It may take a
moment, but it allows you to check everything before the final export.
Export as ZIP Archive
Downloads each selected reel as a separate video file, bundled into a single .zip. Enhancements
like a logo or music will be applied to each individual clip.
Export as a Single Video
Merges all your selected clips into one continuous video, respecting the order you set in the Reels
Order modal. All enhancements are applied to the final merged video.
Customizing Your Reel
Adding a Branded Logo
- Select Logo File: Upload your logo (PNG with transparency is recommended).
- Logo Position: Use the 3x3 grid to place your logo. Tip: Avoid bottom-center if
you plan to use burnt-in subtitles, as they may overlap.
- Logo Size: Adjust the slider to control the logo's size relative to the video's width.
Adding Background Music
- Select From Device: Upload your own MP3 or WAV file.
- Browse Library: Choose from a pre-approved list of standard tunes. You can play them
before selecting.
- Music Volume: Set the volume of the background music. Use the Audition
Music button to test how it sounds against typical speech.
Adding an Intro / Outro
- Upload separate video files for your Intro and Outro. These will be automatically added to the beginning
and end of your final reel.
- If you only have an Intro, you can check Use Intro video as Outro to use the same clip at
both the start and finish.
Adding Burnt-in Subtitles
- Check the Include burnt-in subtitles box to permanently add subtitles to your video.
- If you used the "Translate results" option, the subtitles will be in the translated language.
Tips & Gotchas
- Be specific with queries: "Testers compare sweetness to competitors" is better than
"sweetness."
- If clips feel too short, try increasing the Max duration per reel value.
- Remember that reordering clips only matters for the "Single Video" export.
- For the best results, ensure any Intro/Outro videos you upload have a similar aspect ratio (e.g.,
portrait) to your main content.
